The Venice Yacht Club The Venice Yacht Club was founded in 1951 and is one of the 13 original members of the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs. We are a private Yacht Club and a favorite port of call for reciprocal members from other Florida yacht clubs. Venice is one of the few clubs that has the distinction of being right on the Intracoastal Waterway ICW with easy accessibility to both the Gulf of Mexico and the gulf beaches. One may bicycle downtown to The Avenue for some very unique shopping in its many boutiques and gift shops. The area also offers an art gallery,Venice Little Theater, antique shops, library and many restaurants bicycles are available for guests use.The Venice Yacht Club provides the members a private social club with extraordinary services and facilities. Membership includes successful business and professional people and spans all ages. The club is member controlled. Therefore, each member has a voice in the use and care of the club facilities and services. Camaraderie abounds. Amenities are extraordinary. Activities are many. Fine dining, ambiance and impeccable service are the norm.
